Airbus piensa en un nuevo avión con capacidad para 1000 pasajeros

El constructor aeronáutico europeo Airbus está considerando la posibilidad de fabricar una versión extendida del 'superjumbo' A380 con capacidad para 1.000 pasajeros, según anunció hoy el consejero delegado de EADS, Louis Gallois, en una entrevista publicada hoy por el diario alemán Saechsische Zeitung.

El 'superjumbo' A380, el mayor avión comercial construido, tiene capacidad para transportar 555 pasajeros. La aeronave comenzó a operar en octubre del pasado año tras un retraso de dos años que dañó severamente los resultados de Airbus y que forzó a realizar una reestructuración de la compañía.

Gallois explicó que la nueva versión del A380 para 1.000 pasajeros había sido proyectada desde el principio, pero parece ser que no se tomará una decisión sobre su fabricación hasta 2010.

Well, if you have been following this blog, most of the pictures you will have seen of my KP are of it in bits spread across my driveway. What can I say, I like taking things apart. Anyway, as the car has been in one piece for a couple of weeks and is running well, I took the chance to get out for a play with my camera and enjoy the UK sunshine (yes we do get a little!). Enjoy!

No, i won't say it. Even though I now have over 6,000 views, I won't say it. Nope, I won't. I'm serious. You figure it out, you know what I'm going to say..or do you? Okay fine, I'll say it, WHERE THE HELL ARE MY COMMENTS!?

You know you deserved that. And yes I'm talking to YOU. Because you're reading this right now. Therefore there is no excuse. It doesn't make ANY sense that I have over 6,000 views and yet I'm still at only 13 comments. That's ridiculous! Say something!! Give me your opinion! Say, stuff like Yea I agree! Or No I disagree. Anything!! Because it's really depressing when I log in every day and all I see is a full spam folder.

Yep, that's right. Today, I am proud to announce that '3o-year old Cardboard' has surpassed the 1,000 hit plateau. Faster than Pete Rose, Ty Cobb, Hank Aaron, and many more I have done it!! Seriously though, 1,000 hits in just over 2 weeks is a great feeling that I hope will continue for a long time.

I would like to thank the academy for recognizing my life's works... just kidding!!

But, seriously, I could not have done this without my readers. I am very honored that there are people out there that enjoy my writing enough to visit once and come back for more. Writing has always been a passion of mine and with my 'born-again' interest in the hobby of baseball card collecting it felt natural to document my journey. Many people have offered help and advice and for that all I can say is 'Thank You'. A special 'Shout Out' goes to Mario at Wax Heaven who mentioned my little blog on his site and gave me my highest traffic date to this point. I strive for bigger and better and look forward to maintaining more and more readers that come across my page.

As I have mentioned many times before, I find this to be fun. I look forward to sharing my thoughts about the game I love and the hobby I am falling in love with all over again. Heyyy! Ok so I know I didn't do anything special for my 3000 hits post, and now (only one day later mind you), I'm already over 4000 so I'm going to put up something that I was saving for a while. I had made a new banner but I thought I might save it until after the Olympics (so I could get some long term use out of the Olympics banner) but I guess I'll put it up now since things are progressing so quickly. I may or may not alternate it with the Olympic banner from day to day, I guess we'll see.
