QB:

Carson Palmer, Bengals: If you have been wondering if you should go a different direction but just could not stomach benching Palmer and his high draft status, it’s not your fault and you can do it this week.  Palmer is going to be sitting.  At least you know ahead of time this week.

Trent Edwards, Bills: They are being cautious with Edwards on the bye week.  Signs are pointing that he will return after the bye week.

Brian Griese, Bucs: His elbow held him out of practice again.  Will Jeff Garcia play well enough to hold him out of games after this week?  remains to be seen.  Jon Gruden is becoming to QB’s what Mike Shanahan is to RB’s.

Jon Kitna, Lions: This was an interesting tidbit earlier in the week because it appears that the Lions were not prepared for the possibility that Kitna could not go.  There was question as to if Dan Orlovsky or Drew Stanton would get the start.  It appears that Orlovsky is going to be the guy this weekend in his first NFL start.

Aaron Rodgers, Packers: All signs on the Magic 8 Ball are pointing to Rodgers starting against Seattle.  People questioned his durability going into the season but we are seeing some toughness as well as he is playing through the pain.  Kudos Aaron.

Matt Hasselbeck, Seahawks: Hasselbeck is listed as questionable but is not expected to play according to The Big Show.  Beware the return of Charlie Fry.  Well, Charlie Fry will return anyway, we have not had to beware of anything with the Seahawks passing game this season so far.

RB:

Brian Westbrook, Eagles: Let’s look at it this way.  You are going to be without Brian Westbrook this week.  At least you know it now.  How much hair do you figure has been lost over the years on Sunday morning alone waiting to see if this guy was going to play or not?  He isn’t, go on and enjoy your weekend.

i did mentioned how i detest some malay publications and it amazed me that this particular zine has the lentok bahasa of the known vogue - only it's in bahasa melayu. you would never have found a description of an interior, "... dicumbui dengan warna jingga...". that. is. nice. superb.

i was at the clinic that afternoon. usually i'd pick up their collection of reader's digest but i just headed straight to the seat nearest to the doc's office. there was a zine lying beside me, facing downward so i didn't see the cover. i evaluate whether it's one of those nona/wanita/jelita zine but the ad on the back cover is volvo xc90 in english. so i read the spine that was facing me - i still wouldn't want to pick it up - and it read GLAM... then whatever else in malay. eventually intrigued enough to know more, i picked it up and saw the cover --- sofia jane in red. the shot was perfect and there is something else. whatever it is, it got me. there are so many things i would like to see more in it, as i browsed through its pages, the materials they have lined up are exactly what you get when you scream more-more-more! there's couture as well, and yeah... everything else inside there got me, period. and sofia's stare was daunting enough in the whole shot combination of the red dress she wore, the rouge lipstick, jet black lashes and fair skin.

i became that hantu-ish with the zine, i looked around the empty clinic to make sure the clerks were busied away with the pills. thank god for the huge birkin i brought with me. i put the zine inside, and got out my purse and sunglasses out siap-siap so that when i'm paying the bill, they wouldn't have to see the zine i stole stashed in as i unzipped the birkin.

i feared that it has stopped publishing - because the one i stole stashed is the july 2004 issue. i never found this zine anywhere and it never caught my eye every time i scanned the racks for malaysia's harper's bazaar or anything similar, so i started googling it and i breathe easy knowing that it's still publishing and that there's that one place where i will be able to have my hands on - kinokuniya... although, klcc is still off-limits to me. but to find the drive for this zine, i wouldn't mind making a visit there. even if i bumped into the tall and the petite, the zine would serves me well to smack her off anyways - if they ever get to close.

usually i'd behave like a snake - i'd see the enemy first and made my way away and away unseen.

L was shooing one of the kitz out of the way as i drive to parked in the porch. he doesn't say "syohhh!", it sounded more like "syahhh... syahhh!". to which i instantly went laughing by myself as my mind went to the raya in the isle file of fiekrey squating to the black cat that keeps waiting for scraps of food at aunt B's house.

fiekrey: syahhhh... syahhh...

the expression on fiekrey's face, the pose of him squatting down earnestly to the cat's eye level --- is supercute and amusing.

the reason fiekrey calls the cat syah was because the way L shooes it away. the famillia heard him does it to the cat by saying, "syahhh" instead of "syohhh!"

hence that darn cat got its name.

for raya 2008 - it's first five days - a total of almost 1,000 pictures were taken. dalam setiap satu sesi ber-cameranistas (equivalent to camwhoring), minimum dua kali kena transferkan gambar supaya memory card dikosongkan untuk terus bersnapsnapsnap. laptop sentiasa on standby. kabel wayar sana-sini. setiap rumah kami bertandang - laptop, kabel, dan pendrive mesti dijinjing bersama. bilik azmee dah macam bilik media dengan wayar-wayar desktopnya dan kabel-kabel kamera, external hard disk, dan PSP berselirat.

recently, as it happens indirectly of the communication between moi and this one person - we were making amends with each other. this one person that i used to ignore and acted as if that person doesn't exist. i guess breakups made you a more humble person and lebih open-minded about everyone else that you chose to ignore at first.

this person, i hope that our relationship will grows to be better, start to get to know each other... slow, slow. and layankan saja everytime dia ajuk slang aku - amusing sebenarnya, aku sangat terhibur, really. everytime aku sound dia shut up - darling, that is being affectionate.

anis: faham kan sekarang bagaimana aku mampu bertahan tiga jam depan cermin untuk buat rambut... the drive to be beautiful! sebab masa aku kecik-kecik... dengan rambut kering kerinting, fashion sense yang out --- hitam! semuanya hitam masa zaman aku kecik-kecik! dark childhood!

what i keep reminding myself... aku memang ada kesilapan. tersilap pun juga. buat silap sudah tentu. banyak kali tersilap dan buat silap. tapi aku tak bersalah. melutut dan merayulah aku mahukan peluang, tapi tak pernah aku terdesak untuk sampai ke tahap mengkhianati. itu sudah menjadi kesalahan. it's good to know it is not my fault. it's good to know that i am not at fault.

i just made mistakes.

What does the Hef do when Holly Madison and his other girlfriends leave him ? Well according to the NY Daily News, Hugh Hefner is dating 19-year old twins. That's impressive. Reports are that Hef was trying to have a child with Holly Madison, but somehow the 82-year-old couldn't pull through. I wonder why ? Now, the Hef is back in the sack with twins, something that only men can dream of, and Hef is living the dream. More from the NY Daily News:

Hugh Hefner is already on the hunt for new girlfriends just days after longtime loves Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson announced the end of their respective relationships with the Playboy founder.

The veteran bachelor has admitted he's considering making 19-year-old twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon official girlfriends.

The twins, who partied with Hefner on Oct. 4 wearing little more than body paint and briefs, "very much want to be girlfriends," Hefner told E!. "Now under the present circumstance, they probably will become my girlfriends." This wouldn't be Hefner's first foray into twindom: The 82-year-old dated Bentley sisters Sandy and Mandy in early 2000.
