1. Documentary Collection; yaitu dokumen hanya "dibantutagihkan" oleh Bank kepada pembeli melewati collecting bank di negara pembeli, baik itu D/P (Documents against Payment) atau D/A (Documents against Acceptance)
2. Document Under LC; yaitu dokumen yang dikirim berdasarkan permintaan yang dipersyaratkan oleh letter of credit, biasanya dokumen yang sesuai dan setuju untuk dibeli dahulu oleh negotiating bank itulah yang disebut NEGOSIASI.

Dengan demikian NEGOSIASI berarti pembelian terlebih dahulu atau persetujuan untuk membayar terlebih dahulu Oleh Bank Penegosiasi sebelum saat dibayar oleh Issuing Bank (UCP 600 Ps.2),
sehingga, dokumen-dokumen walaupun berdasarkan LC dengan kondisi Complied With (tidak terdapat penyimpangan), tidak bisa disebut DINEGOSIASI selama negotiating bank tidak Membayarkan/setuju membayar terlebih dahulu dari pada issuing bank.

but, if we look inside the concept of Letter of credit, that the ultimate guarantor is Issuing bank, the sellers actually can negotiate their documents straight to issuing bank, with condition they have to go to issuing bank's country by their own and surrender the documents directly or by direct post services. (eventhough it's more risky, expensive and need extra effort) but it's possible.

War Eagle, Walter, we can feel it. Make Mississippi State feel it. Up the and down the field.

More than 3 years ago, in the Australian summer of 2005, a guy called Marat Safin won the year’s first grand slam in tennis. Safin, a tennis player with immense talent & potential, was winning his second grand slam after a long gap of 4 and half years. But during those 2 weeks of competition which saw some of the most grueling games being played out, the usually mercurial Safin was as cool as a cucumber. So much so that even in victory, his demeanor belied any hint of emotion. All the racket smashing & screaming histrionics were replaced by a far more deadlier wry smile :-)

I remember this event vividly, because of a comment that was made by Nirmal Shekhar, a sports writer for the Hindu. Since then, the essence of that comment has come back to me from time to time, but for some reason the last few days  I have been thinking about it

often enough to warrant a successful dig into the archives of the Hindu to get hold of the exact words in that article. Here it is,

“It is strange how in life, and in sport, you have to be what you are not to become what you want to be. It is strange how necessary it becomes to sublimate your nature to achieve major goals.”

This, Ladies & Gentlemen, is in complete & utter contrast to what is popular wisdom – the shortest tenet in a long history of mankind – “Be Yourself”. But the above given antithesis is compelling enough to warrant attention. The idea is simple - the very fact that you haven’t achieved something means that there is something in your composition that you need to change / adopt to make it possible.

All of us have dreams/goals in life. Sometimes when we see those dreams or set those goals, we feel that there is some quality in oneself that will help achieve that goal. For example, I might think that i write well (quality) and hence i set myself a goal of being a succesful writer. But that is not always the case. One could dream of becoming a VJ, inspite of being a shy person. One may want to excel at a sport that warrants phenomenal concentration to succeed, inspite of being inherently impatient. Or maybe someone who is basically a nice & cool person, wants to be good leader and hence at times has to be harsh & stubborn to drive the point across.

So how we deal with a situation where our basic nature is a near opposite to what it takes to achieving our dreams.

Do we tell ourselves 'Be Yourself' , forget it & set yourself goals that are realistic given your personality??

Or do we attempt to change ourselves, knowing fully well that in a competitive world like this where even people with those inherent 'dream-achieving' qualities struggle, the odds are stacked against you??

jadi selama penjual/eksportir sudah menerima LC dari bank (yang sudah dipastikan bonafiditasnya) dan siap untuk memenuhi semua persyaratan LC tersebut, dia tidak lagi perlu memperhatikan Pembelinya (dalam arti kemampuan pembeli untuk membayar), karena semua tanggung jawab pembayaran dan resiko sudah ditanggung oleh bank, ASALKAN semua kondisi dan persyaratan LC terpenuhi.yang perlu diberikan perhatian khusus adalah mampukah penjual memenuhi persyaratan dan kondisi LC, seperti : memenuhi spesifikasi produk/jasa sesuai yang diminta, pembuatan dokumen, realisasi pengapalan barang sesuai dengan jadwal LC dan kesesuaian lainnya.Jika hal tersebut sudah dapat dipenuhi, maka tidak ada alasan untuk khawatir terhadap pembayaran dari pembeli, karena pembayaran sudah dijamin oleh bank.

anyhow ours was good professional relationship,you know it and I know it,no problems as far as I am concerned,but watch the show this bit is for you,I did not like the politics they played calling a pregnant girl and collected the points they said to me in public and did it.it was well staged and deliberate thing on their part to make money and to get at me.

Among the story lines for the fifth season will be the return of Domenick Lombardozzi, the actor who plays Dom. Ellin wrote him in intending for Dom to be a permanent fixture of the entourage. Ellin has a personal goal to bring Dom back, but this time with a storyline viewers can empathize with. Giving him terminal cancer is one idea that was considered. It is also rumored that rapper Saigon will return to the series in Season 5. Also Emmanuelle Chriqui will be reprising her role as Sloan for one episode this season.

Anyways, it has been confirmed by various news outlets that Rapper Bow Wow will play Eric's newest client: Charlie, a young, up-and-coming comedian trying to get a break. Ellin says he has four more seasons of material in reserve, implying that Entourage will probably run through season eight. T.I. is also expected to make a guest appearance in the fifth season. Among the other celebrities appearing on the show are Jamie-Lynn Sigler who will be playing herself and a potential love interest for one of the boys in a 3-episode-arc. TV Guide reports that appearing as themselves will be Mark Wahlberg, Tony Bennett, Los Angeles Lakers' stars Andrew Bynum and Trevor Ariza, golfer Phil Mickelson, and actor Eric Roberts. Other guests confirmed include Lukas Haas and Giovanni Ribisi (as screenwriters), Fran Drescher and Kevin Pollak (as a Beverly Hills couple). Martin Landau is also set to reprise his role as Bob Ryan. Leighton Meester will be reprising her role as Justine Chapin for one episode.

Season Five also promises Johnny Drama a hit show, a break-up and a daytime meltdown on "The View". The scene, taped outside of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, includes The View co-hosts Sherri Shepherd, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Whoopi Goldberg.

I was never sure why I hung onto the card. There was just something special about it. They were wise words, but I did not fully grasp their meaning. Tonight, I ran into a more complete version:

"Sing like nobody's listening,
Live like it's Heaven on Earth,
Work like you don't need money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
And dance like no one's watching."

I must admit, I have been overwhelmed as of late. I have literally had so many amazing things happen to me and it is only now that I am beginning to understand the true meaning behind these sayings.

I want to thank Kristyn for opening my eyes up to the possibilities life has in store for me and for opening up my heart to the beauty of it all. I'm really starting to understand.

When it comes to Canon and Nikon, I think they're naming their cameras like this ##D and D## just to make comparing them that much more confusing.

My initial assessment is that both are for people who know what they're doing.  I don't.  Unfortunately they dont automatically take good pictures.  Both are heavy and are less portable than the XSi.  The D90 has HD video shooting which is a serious bonus.  But the $1k+ prices are just making me think twice.  There are so many reviews of all three of these cameras.  As someone who's graduating from a simple PowerShot I think it's safe to go for a beginner DSLR and then move up IF things work out.  And thus, after such an in-depth analysis, I'm moving quickly toward the XSi.

The Dark Knight (2008): the comic book film that the comic book dork [me] has been waiting for, supposedly. Director Christopher Nolan (Memento, The Prestige) extends the themes from the excellent franchise reboot Batman Begins, and deftly explores the nature of justice in a world in which all systems are corrupt. Is vigilante justice really the answer, or are heroes by nature prone to the same abuses of power from which they vow to protect the innocent? The production value, cinematography and acting are all superb, with a script and dialog that takes these cerebral themes seriously within the context of a big action blockbuster, which is no small thing.

Yes, Heath Ledger delivers an intriguingly creepy performance as Batman's arch rival, Joker, and the character does well in exposing the hypocrisy of both villain and hero in a world which requires compromise. Yes, the film is in many ways a perfect example of how a popular genre, the superhero, can be artfully done. However, because there is so much going on in the film thematically and because the pacing cruises by at such a clip, there is almost a feeling of overload by the film's end.

After watching it a second time I was able to digest much more but feel the film could have ended about a half hour earlier or used its length to add some scenes which allow for a bit of contemplation. There simply is no time taken in this film for such embellishments and while many are calling this the Godfather or Heat of comic book films, those crime epics allowed for such moments of deliberate pacing, which make them just a notch better than The Dark Knight.

Pixar is pretty much the most consistent modern film studio, they make excellent work feature after feature. This all boils down to one thing. Story. Since these animated films take so long to make from beginning to end, the filmmakers at Pixar make sure they have an intriguing story to tell before they commit one pixel to a hard-drive.

Wall-E (2008) is no exception to the aforementioned excellence. The attention to detail is breathtaking, be it the human like qualities of our hero robot, which the filmmakers borrow from Chaplin and Keaton with adroit affection, or the dystopic vision of a planet which is left for dead by a humanity that has consumed itself out of a home.

This film is both intelligent science fiction---in that it questions the nature of humanity---and a great romantic comedy rolled into one. And Wall-E is actually quite bold in the message it delivers to its viewers and it doesn't have to resort to polarizing buzz words ("global warming," "alternative fuels") for the effect to be quite sobering. In the end that is what good storytelling does, reveal rather than malign.

At the prompting of a friend, The Diving Bell and The Butterfly (2007) was moved to the top of our Netflix queue and good grief was it worth it. This film, by director Julian Schnaebel, won the best director prize at the Cannes film festival and was nominated for four Academy Awards. It tells the true story of a paralyzed man and how he communicates with the only part of his body unaffected by the paralysis: his left eye.

The Diving Bell and The Butterfly is visually astounding and a perfect example of form fitting function. A good third of the film is told from the main character's point of view, which is something that has to be seen for oneself in order to grasp the creative lengths this film goes to to communicate the story. A meditation on the transformative power of creativity, no matter one's circumstances, this film shows us how creativity can liberate and teach one about others and oneself.

Schnaebel is most notably a painter and has only done four films, but with this film he has placed himself in the big leagues by creating such a beautiful and somber film which stays with the viewer long after the credits role.

Anyway, I've taken a huge step forward when it comes to blogging, and I'm excited to have this space represent my ideas--good, bad, or ugly.  I'll be writing about travel, media, spirituality, philosophy, and anything else that I think of.  So sit back with your laptop and enjoy.  I know I will.

So this is it. After more than a year of maintaining radio silence, I've abandoned my old blog and started a new one.

I love to write, and have missed the catharthic feeling of putting words on paper (screen). Several factors led to me writing less and less though, and the 1 or 2 posts I used to put up per month in those dying days eventually petered off into nothing.

Now I'm starting again, because reading blogs of friends and strangers have made me realise just how much I miss having a voice. It never really mattered to me who read what I wrote; I just wrote anyway. For myself, and whoever else was out there reading. 

I'm calling this an experiment, cos that's really what it is. I'm not telling anyone about this blog. If anyone stumbles upon this, I'd love for you to say hi in the comments box.

As a side note, a rather famous blogger (who will not be named so as to prolong the anonymity of this blog) was egging me on to start writing again a month or so ago, and a recent (thought-provoking) post from her on "irritating Singaporean bloggers" was the push that sent me over the edge and running into the arms of Wordpress.

Unfortunately, I am about to commit one of her proclaimed cardinal sins of blogging in that this blog will in no way be niche.

It will not be themed.

It will not have a focus.

It will be stream-of-consciousness blabbering.

Old readers will know that I never edit my posts and I sure as hell don't plan them.

This probably makes me a bad blogger, but we'll see what happens.

So welcome, if you've discovered me. If not, I'm happy just talking to myself. :)

Sadly had the seller contacted me - I probably would have been able to work this out before it becomes this awkward conversation and a difficult situation. I have spent a great deal of time and money marketing and staging the home and would like the opportunity to once again market it if the client will allow me to fulfill the terms of the contract at the price I suggested to him in Februrary that he is now willing to market it at.

A fun work day for me is waiting tomorrow. Just outlines again the importance of working with a professional agent who does all of their job - not just the parts we think are fun and communication - the key to a successful and rewarding experience with a Realtor.

RE: "I'll Fight Day" - Social Justice Conference.

The Salvation Army in Western Australia is hosting a Social Justice Conference on the 13th September 2008.

It will be held at The Salvation Army, Rivervale Corps (cnr. Norwood and Francisco Streets, Rivervale) from 9.30am to 4.30pm (with Registration from 9am).

The conference will have two main focus areas, Poverty and Human Trafficking.

The day will consist of guest speakers (including - among others - a group from TEAR Australia), video presentations, workshops, etc. and will engage your heart and mind around what you can do to help Fight these injustices.

There will be a special guest appearance of the Spirit of the Streets Choir. The choir was initially formed in late 2006 by the BIG ISSUE newspaper sellers of Perth. It finds its newer members among other marginalised people, outside the reach of the mainstream community; the homeless, those with a mental illness, the disabled and those affected by drugs or alcohol.

There will be a crèche facility provided upon request (this must be pre-arranged - call Kathleen Pearce on 0417 972 936).

Lunch, and refreshments during the day are included in the low cost of the event.

$15 and $10 for Student/Concession.
