Welcome to the first posting for Hispanic Texas. I wanted to share with you what this blog is all about. It's about showcasing local Texas and South West Hispanic issues, community, success stories, and events that concern the Hispanic Community. It is also to allow non Hispanics a chance to gain a better understanding of the community and open communication lines between the two.

I want to thank you all who contribute to this blog. I invite all to email me and be a contributor . You don't again have to be Hispanic or Latino to contribute.

P.S. Latest blog will be on the Ramirez Trial and Case in Penn. He is a young Latino Man who died from a Race Hate beating . I hope Glenn Beck, Dobbs and O'Reilly Take notice of their hate language and how it effects and influenances  others . Fair and balanced you are not! No Ma'am.

Tjah, nu er den dræbtes mor sikkert glad, hun har jo fået en undskyldning hvad mere kan hun kræve? efter min mening så burde folk enkelte gange holde deres mund og tie, istedet for at vise sig frem og undskylde, specielt efter at det har vist sig at du er en dårlig mor, der kun fortjener at blive straffet for ikke at have opdraget dine egne børn ordentligt...

Moren til den dræbte har nu ingen tilbage, eftersom hun ønsker at begrave hendes barn i tyrkiet, så skal familien også have penge til at sende ham til tyrkiet og de har derfor brug for penge, ved at donere et mindre beløb man hjælpe familien...

Violence against transgender people is a reality. Join us to help combat it.

The BGLTSA will be hosting a political display to make our campus aware that hatecrimes occur daily against transgender people simply because of their gender identity and expression. We will stage a "die-in" with BGLTSA members lying on the ground to commemorate those in our community whose lives have been taken from them for expressing who they are. Information will be displayed about trans hate crimes and House Bill 1722 -- a bill currently being considered by the Massachusetts legislature concerning the inclusion of violence fueled by a person's gender identity and expression under current "hate crime" laws.

 COMBAT INJUSTICE. BE BOLD. WE DARE YOU.
