Di singapore gampang lah ya, nginep di tempat temen yang mau nampung aja. Kalo budget hotel sekitar 70an SGD lah sehari. Kemana-mana mrt, map lengkap. Kalo mau coba-coba nyasar2an, singapore adalah negeri level easy lah ya.. Gampang deh ngapa-ngapain. Secara juga agak tau mana-mananya jadi ga blank2 amat.

Yang direncanain agak-agak ribet itu malay, karena nanggung udah di sing, dan johor ga jauh. Jadi cobalah mencari-cari. Akhirnya rutenya sing-johor-KL-melacca-KL-sing. Ada kreta api, ada bis, ada ferry, ada pesawat. Kemarin saya nyoba naik keretaapi malam, yang ada tempat tidurnya gitu. Tapi naiknya dari johor bahru, kenapa? Soalnya kan tiketnya untuk night sleepers 40 tuh. Kl brangkat dr sing 40 SGD, kl dari malay 40 ringgit. Ringgit itu kira-kira setengahnya SGD. Cek kurs disini. Ringgit 2700-2800, SGD sekitar 6600.. Padahal Sing-JB gampang bgt, tinggal naik mrt sampe kranji, sambung bis SBS 170 ke johor (pake kartu ezlink tinggal di-tap), atau sampe marsaling trus lanjut SMRT 960 (kl ga salah), kemaren dari kranji siy. 2.5 SGD saja. Kalo naik bis gini, turun naik kira-kira dua kali. Pertama di imigrasi singapur, bakal diminta white card sing trus pas di woodlands gitu (kalo ga salah) ke custom malaysia. Keluar dari custom langsung deh kota johor bahru. Sampe disorientasi saking deketnya. Pas turun bas smua barang dibawa, soalnya kan belom tentu kita naik bas yang sama. Mulai memelayu deh.. Trus ntar pas tap kartu ezlink tulisannya suspended n pas naik lagi jadi retrieved (kl ga salah).

Dari johor baru naik kreta ke KL (www.ktmb.com.my). Tiketnya bisa dipesen OL dr kpn2 tau. Bisa milih tempat duduk/tempat tidur juga. Sampe KL jam 6 pagi. Hehehe, trus duduk deh di tren stesen karena bis hop on hop off usulan ibu ini belom beroperasi. Bisnya ada jam stgh 9 pagi. 38 MYR, dan okelah buat orang buta KL kaya gue. Daripada naik turun LRT, Rapid KL, monorail padahal ga tau jg mau kemana mending naik hop on hop off.

Muter-muter KL trus sorenya ke melacca naik bis dari puduraya. Nah karena gatau gmn cr ke puduraya, jadilah gue ngerequest untuk diturunin di deket2 stesen sama hop on hop off, untung mereka baik, jadilah gue ga usah nyari taksi segala dimana taksi disana tak berargo. Sampe puduraya, karena hariraya, smua bis ke arah selatan dialihkan ke bukit djalil. Tapi ada rapid KL (3MYR), trus tiket KL-melacca 12.5 ringgit. Sampe melacca tgl naik bis domestik 1 ringgit sampe jalan dpn penginapan. Penginapan udah booking dari bulan kemaren. 14 USD, mayan dari chimot yang recommended www.hostelworld.com. Kebetulan tempat nginepnya bener2 di place of interestnya melacca (jonker walk/jalan hang jebat) dan kebetulan pas weekend jadinya keluar penginapan langsung aja night market + site2 bersejarah untuk foto2. Hehehe. Hop on hop off melacca 2 ringgit (sama ky bis yang dipake dr stesen bas ke hostel).

Siang-siang balik lg ke KL (kira-kira 2 jam) trus dr bukit djalil-puduraya naik rapid KL. Puduraya ke KL sentral naik LRT (1 MYR) naiknya dari stesen masjid djamek, jalan paling 10 menitan. Di KL sentral ada wifi kenceng banget n bebas, ga kaya changi yang mesti registrasi dulu. Dari KL 21.34 mestinya sampe singapur jam 8.15. Tapi parah aja delaynya, jam 8 masih di custom johbar. Setengah 11 baru sampe Keppel Road. Padahal mestinya kl naik bis, johor-melacca 2 jam n melacca-KL 2 jam. Ditambah johor-kranji plg stgh jam n kranji-city pake mrt mungkin sejam.

Gile, gue berasa bikin blog apa rute sih ini.. Gapapa deh buat pembelajaran kalo gue ingin mengulang.

* woke up n felt empty like i usually did around 9am? then i sms-ed n miss called hiro to ask whether he had already gone to KL or not cos he had to do research today, ended up he didnt reply me..but came here! no credit~ same old reason..

* we prepared n head up to KL - Leo n family just went to Genting by taxi around 11am - hot hot hot weather

* had our lunch at KL Central food court (hiro already started to spread his questionnaire around when we were at the bus stop at cyber)

* after that we went to Low Yat first, hiro need to do his research - i was helping him to take silly pics lol~

* next destination was Sunge wang-BB plaza, need to go to Victoria Music Store to buy S.H.E CD with ost CJ7 bonus CD hehe..their new FM S.H.E album is damn nice,trust me! check out their song on my previous post..favourite tracks : 安静了, 612星球, 宇宙小姐

This is one of the most important semesters I'll ever have to get through and things are just not, NOT going right for me right now. No.

Suasana Edaran Express is a new Kuala Lumpur-Singapore coach operator. Using a fleet of double-decker Scania coaches dubbed TopClass, it offers 3 trips daily to the Malaysian capital. Tickets for adults starts at SGD45 one-way. The TopClass coaches offers onboard amenities such as personal tv sets with multi-channel entertainment, massage seats, F&B service and even an attendant.

I will be doing a review on Suasana Edaran Express on my trip to KL next week. Stay tuned to know how they fared.

This depot houses a large number of Mercedes-Benz CBC 1725 buses. Unlike the Chan Sow Lin Depot, this depot is largely fenced-up, thus hindering me from taking more photos of the buses parked.

Next stop, a factory where coach bodies were built. The factory is 'heavily-guarded' by dogs. Newly-built buses as well as those under construction can be easily seen from the roadside. The New Hup Lee Coachworks used to be one of the leading bus-body manufacturers in Malaysia.

Afterwhich, we headed to Bandar Baru Ampang, or Ampang New Town for supper. We exchanged many information on buses from both sides of the Causeway. We were so into the conversation that it was soon time to head home. But the hunt for buses was far from over.

We stopped by at a secluded area in Melawati area. I was surprised when I saw buses, one after another, emerging from the woods. In that 'forest', lies the RapidKL's Melawati Depot. One bus which was about to start its day zoomed past the entrance. Hurrily, Arwan and Hijaz got back into the car, with me of course, and chased that bus. Only then that I knew the bus is an Iveco Turbocity with a modified front - a rare catch. Apparently, that was the first time any of them ever saw the bus. The bus sped along the road enroute to its starting point. Apparently, the bus was late. It was thrilling chasing the bus which easily reached speeds in excess of 80km/h!
Unfortunately, I did not take a shot of that rare bus.

The hunt ended almost 7 hours later. Thank you to Arwan and Hijaz for arranging that memorable bus-hunting trip!

I was picked up by Arwan, and together with his girlfriend, we set upon a trip that I will remember for a long time to come. First stop, a bus depot belonging to Mara Liner Express, an established interstate coach express company in Malaysia. This is the first time that I have ever been to an express coach depot. Unfortunately, there was barely any lightings around the area. It was pitch black!

The next stop was just a 5 mins drive from the previous location. I was greeted with the sights of several RapidKL Dong Feng buses parked along the narrow road. I was told by Arwan that the buses will be parked at both sides of the roads since the Chan Sow Lin Depot was lacking in parking space. Moving closer to the 'open-air' depot, I got a first-hand look at how the buses were cleaned and maintained after the end of their operations. It is the closest that I've been to a bus depot in Malaysia. In fact, it does not look like a bus depot. Rather, it looked like any other privately-owned bus park.

With sufficient snapshots in hand, I was then driven to a stretch of road near Hang Tuah Monorail Station, a stone's throw away from Berjaya Times Square. I was told that this particular stretch of road will be swarmed with a plethora of express buses which will be parked temporarily before proceeding to Puduraya Terminal to pick-up passengers. Indeed, there were but only a handful of buses parked along the roadside. I also had the chance to speak to some of the drivers of Cepat Express. During the chit-chat, I learnt more about the licensing schemes of the express buses and a bit more of their operations.

We spent around 20 minutes strolling around the area before proceeding to KLCC to pick-up another friend.

I'm now booked on yet another short getaway to KL during the Labour Day holiday. Only this time round, i'm going with my family. I've not been on a holiday with my family in like a decade. The last trip that we went was to Kelantan. My brother also did a small request, which is to book a double-decker coach on the return trip. Which I gladly did for him.

Initial plan was to take the Transtar Premium coach, since it's the cheapest among the many companies that provides double-deckers. Unfortunately, all 37 seats were sold out in just a day. (Called up the Head Office on Friday and was told still many seats left. Went to make a booking at the outlet and was told, 'Sorry sir, sold out.') Scour the various coach companies at Golden Mile and found out that only Grassland and Five Stars have double-deckers. With all the information on hand, I have to decide there and then, which coach to book.

• Grassland Royal VIP - $45. Personal entertainment system, 2+1 seating arrangement, no F&B provided onboard.
• Five Stars Executive Class Hi-Decker - $42. Personal entertainment system, 2+1 seating arrangement, massage chair, no F&B provided onboard.
• Transtar First Class - $42. Personal entertainment system, 16-seater coach with 1+1 seating arrangement, massage chair, onboard steward with F&B service.

Obviously, my choice went to Transtar. First Class coach at such a low, low price! My previous ride on the Premium coach was not disappointing, and I hope the First Class will do the same, if not better. Crossing my fingers that we'll get the First Class 3G coach!

That night, he came fetched me and brother Soo around 4pm in the afternoon to grab some food first at a coffee shop Selayang Bazaar and we all had this nice Penang Prawn Mee.  Then we head to his god-father's home while suddenly i felt really terrible - it's cause by the iced teh-C i drink at that coffee. (i have hyper-ventilation problem most of the time and can't consume coffee or tea which will make me feel ill, and doc says there's no medicine for it.)  Then i just lay inside the car for almost an hour then we head to Jeff's place to wait for him and Yuki(Jeff's gf - a very nice, lovely and polite lady) to take their shower. After that, we head towards to fetch Jeff's worker and some other friends from Indonesia and go together to the karaoke which he celebrate his birthday.

After some rest i was feeling better after arriving the karaoke and we began to drink around 9pm something! Brother Soo had a bottle of Swing and Johnnie Walker as a present for Jeff and we save that JW among ourselves and wait for John (a very close 'brother' to Jeff) to come back from his hometown.  We had that Swing first and then Jeff has ordered a bottle of Chivas and a package of beers of 7 jugs of Tiger beer.(actually the package was offering 5 jugs while the extra 2 are free from the karaoke owner, hehe) that was a wild and crazy night while we all were having fun dancing and laughing together and i was kind of drunk (haha) and they all were playing with my bold head kissing and hugging and pouring some liquor saying that wanted to make my hair grow faster! (hahahaha... i love these guys...) We all drank till we drop! We left there around 3am and Jeff were heading to another place again while me and Brother Soo went home by driving Jeff's little Myvi back home since we have to go to John's place near Pulau Pinang on the second day.

As soon as i got home i took a shower then fallen asleep real fast. Jeff wake me up around 12pm in the afternoon and i haven't actually awake at that time and when he call me back the 2nd time it was around 12:45pm and i'm still in my lazy bed. (hehe...i just can't help it! i was still drunk. hahaha) then i quickly rush to shower and then get dressed and go fetch for Brother Soo first then rushing to Jeff's place. When we got there, Jeff has been locked in the house for almost an hour or maybe more. His housemate got their keys when he went out and they were calling them to return their key asap! (you guys should see his face. haha) After he got his key we went to have some food first and then head straight to John's place.

As soon as we arrive at John's house we brought him out to some place in Penang(i forgot what they called the place), and then headed for dinner and then we were brought to drink again by Jeff's friend! They place really, really ~~~ whoa! Got lots and lots of girls~! 40 over young and sexy girls there~! can you imagine that in a small town like that can have a place like that? they were all slim and young and beautiful~! (but i'm not interested to any of them at all.) i'm not saying that i don't like women, it's just that they are just - not my cup of milk. hehehe... Only until almost all the girls are occupied by the crowds after some time then i finally saw one young lady were really lonely there while no one were to offering her any drinks. She have a really beautiful face, the only problem is that in most guys' eyes, she's a bit bigger in size, but that really catch my attention! (i guess now you understand more about my taste aye?) She absolutely perfect! but i was about time to go back to KL. T_T (how sad~~~T_T) but i promise to myself ~~~~~~ I'll be back~for her! And, then i drove home together with Brother Soo again and left Jeff back there~! We arrive KL around 3am and i was at home around 3:30am and quickly go to sleep...

What a boring and tiring holiday.

She just chopped off her hair into a pseudo-punk thing that I adore, but she's still a little shy about it. I haven't asked her how it looks with her Gatsby wax though. She bought the super strong kind. After her hair-chopping session, we both bought strawberry milk tea and walked around Lot1 until our feet hurt. Then we walked home together like we do almost all the time. :)

There was also garlic bread and pepsi and beer but everyone knows what they look like. We had a great dinner and they had fun watching the race. I didn't, I didn't know who was winning or who was out. What I do know is that I thoroughly enjoy random nights like these with my family.

3. I was at Teck Whye, having a bowl of prawn mee for lunch when I spotted this.

This is the first time I've ever seen noodles get knotted. Really! I should do a post on Teck Whye food. There are some really good stuff but it's too ulu so not a lot of people know it. :/

4. This is Ngruyin.

She says our outfits are very matchy matchy.

Ngruyin has a peculiar shopping habit. When she sees something she likes, she will take 5-10 minutes to consider buying it, then she will leave the shop and walk around, still considering. After another 5 minutes, she will decide for/against making the purchase. I'm fine with it as long as my feet aren't suffering. :D

She is going to KL soon and hopefully can get me these:
