With the Center notifying the new pension rules, they can expect a higher pension packet from next month. The revised pensions are higher than what the sixth Pay Commission recommended.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Although the move benefits the cross-section of retired employees, those in higher brackets have gained more in real terms. New pensions for defence and railway personnel will be notified separately.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Older pensioners have an added reason to rejoice. Centenarians will get 100% extra pension calculated at revised rates. Similarly, those over 80 years will get an additional 20% of their basic pension. This goes up by 30%, 40% and 50% for those over 85, 90 and 95, respectively</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">To get an idea of the quantum of hike, a person with a basic pension of Rs 10,000 — who used to get Rs 22,050 in hand — will now receive a total pension of Rs 26,216. The new rates are effective from January 2006 and the arrears will be given out in two installments — 40% during the current fiscal, 60% in 2009-10 .</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">The maximum gratuity too has been revised to Rs 10 lakh, up from the earlier Rs 3.5 lakh. If an employee dies during service, his family will now get full pension (enhanced family pension) for 10 years.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">The new rules also add more flexibility in retirement benefits. For instance, those who are due to retire can now get 40% of their pension commuted and get a lump sum amount in turn.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>GOLDEN SMILES </strong></p>
<ol style="text-align:justify;">
<li><em>Minimum pension Rs 4,060, up from earlier Rs 2,813 in hand (revised pension to be effective from Jan 1, '06). </em></li>
<li><em>Maximum pension Rs 52,200, up from Rs 33,075. </em></li>
<li><em>Maximum gratuity up to Rs 10 lakh (depending on years of service and last salary drawn). </em></li>
<li><em>Enhanced family pension, for employees dying in service, to be full pension for 10 years. </em></li>
<li><em>Employees eligible for full pension if service is for 20 years. </em></li>
<li><em>Incremental additional pension for those 80 years and above. People over 100 to get double pension. </em></li>
</ol>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>La pension alimenticia es de altisima prioridad para el menor de edad. NO existe ecuacion logica que pueda sostener lo contrario.</p>
<p>En ese sentido, todo aquello que este orientado a materializar dicha pension, es decir que llegue a manos de la madre para que ella disponga lo mejor para su hijo, debe ser realizado en el mas breve plazo por los operadores de justicia.</p>
<p>Pero la realidad es tan brusca, tan agresiva, tan inclemente que al toparnos con ella, nos damos cuenta que -NO hay dudas- estamos en el Peru.</p>
<p>Los jueces y operadores judiciales siguen haciendo de las suyas, dejando para despues, los procesos por alimentos de menores de edad.</p>
<p>¿Que diablos quieren que hagamos para que se pongan las pilas estos imbeciles?</p>
<p>Claro, como las madres de familia NO tienen los recursos para un abogado que este impulsando el proceso judicial, se mofan de ellas.</p>
<p>Impulsar el proceso significa en terminos sencillos y campechanos: alcanzarle una tazita de cafe al Juez, llevarle una gaseosita helada para que pueda calmar su sed, obsequiarle una galleta de chocolate antes de terminar el dia, y otras tantas atenciones de bajo calibre.</p>
<p>Claro esta, si la prisa agobia, ya sabes que una billetera delgada NO resuelve absolutamente nada.</p>
<p>Lo unico que queda en nuestras manos, es quejarse ante la ODICMA para que esta tome cartas en el asunto y se sancione al Juez que sentado en su despacho luego de la hora del almuerzo, tiene el tiempo necesario y suficiente para estar charlando con sus amistades.</p>
<p>Asi es, date un tiempo para ingresar al Juzgado en horas de la tarde luego del horario de almuerzo. Es un relajo total.</p>
<p>Los Jueces conversando amenamente de cualquier cosa en lugar de estar resolviendo mas procesos judiciales, de los pocos que ya resuelve.</p>
<p>¿Que falta cambiar? ¿Tienen la autoridad moral para ser llamado Juez?</p>
<p>Ser Juez NO solo es tener el cargo otorgado por el Estado para que lo represente en la mision de hacer justicia. Sino que hay que ganarse con creces el simple hecho de ser mencionado como tal.</p>
<p>Cuando una madre de familia, se acerca a pedir que NO se demore el proceso, a reclamarle por la demora, este Juez NO pone siquiera la atencion debida. Entrega frases simplistas generalizando la situacion de todos los justiciables.</p>
<p>Cambios muy drasticos se requiere, para que nuestro Sistema Judicial deje de ser una verdadera porqueria.</p>

Although no fiduciary duty under could be pleaded with respect to the EPI Agreement under ERISA, there were sufficient factual allegations to support the contention that a duty to disclose arose at common law. Under Ohio law, a fiduciary relationship includes technical fiduciary relations and those informal relations in existence whenever someone trusts in and relies on another. Given that appellants had already earned the benefits that were due to them under the Program at the time the Pension Plan Committee met to increase the rate, the court could not conclude that no common-law fiduciary relationship existed.</p>
<p>A duty to disclose may arise when one party to a contract has superior knowledge which is not available to both parties even if no fiduciary relationship arose under those circumstances. See Stambovsky v. Ackley. In this case according to the complaint, the organization had access to information that appellants did not have regarding the administration of the pension plan, including the occurrence of the meeting where the rate was changed.</p>

<p><strong>Fremskridtspartiet og offentligt ansatte</strong></p>
<p><em>Glistrup:</em> ”Vi jagter ikke offentligt ansatte, men vil skabe et bedre Danmark for alle”.</p>
<p>Enhver ny folkelig bevægelse vil altid indeholde elementer af protest og kritik mod det bestående magtsystem. Sådan havde Socialdemokratiet og Venstre det for 100 år siden. Og sådan har Fremskridtspartiet det i dag.</p>
<p>Heri ligget noget overmåde sundt for os, der er gennemsyrede af demokratiets grundideer.</p>
<p>De etablerede magthavere føler sig lige så åbenbart irriterede, når de bliver kritiserede. ”Hvad skal dog sådan noget nyt til for?”. Derfor bruger de i alle historiens epoker og i alle lande deres magtpositioner til at bekæmpe nytænkere.</p>
<p>Derfor er det letforståeligt, at organisationspaverne bekæmper fremskridtsbevægelsen og for eksempel arrangerer en demonstration mod os.</p>
<p>Skal der komme noget nyttigt ud heraf, er det imidlertid tåbeligt at pådutte os synspunkter, som vi ikke har, således som den offentlige debat har været præget af. Lad mig derfor her fortælle sandheden om fremskridtspolitikken vedrørende de offentligt ansatte:</p>
<p><strong>1.</strong> Vi mener, at en stor del af Danmarks ulykke beror på, at vi bruger al for meget af vor arbejdskraft på golde skrivebordspapirsysler. Det kan man imidlertid ikke bebrejde de offentligt ansatte, men alene de folketingsflertal, som har gennemført reglerne herom. Vor kamp er derfor rettet på at få lovene ændrede, mens det ikke er nogen kamp mod de mennesker, som virker ved administrativt arbejde.</p>
<p><strong>2.</strong> De administratorer, hvis stillinger vi vil nedlægge, vil vi sikre ny beskæftigelse på langt mere menneskelige vilkår, end Danmark i 1950´erne bød de mange landbrugere, der blev jaget til byerne, eller i 1960´erne de smånæringsdrivende, der brød sammen under det voksende bureaukratis pres.</p>
<p><strong>3.</strong> Vi anerkender fuldt ud, at sygepleje, hjemmehjælp, regneundervisning o.s.v. er vigtige opgaver, der skal skatteyderbetales.</p>
<p><strong>4.</strong> Alle offentligt ansatte får reallønsfremgang i det velstandssamfund, vil vi skabe. Skattelettelsen er væsentligt større end statens lønudgiftsnedgang.</p>
<p><strong>5.</strong> Pensionsforholdene må gøres ens for alle ældre, så skatteyderne betaler det samme kronebeløb i pension til den 67 årige tidligere B &#38; W-arbejder eller kontormand som til 67 årige, der i sine aktive år har været professor eller minister. Fremskridtspartiet arbejder meget hårdt for, at så at sige alle – også offentligt ansatte – reelt kan opnå en højere pension end nu. Der sker gennem vore forslag til store forhøjelser af folkepensionssatsen, betydelige forhøjelser af den skattefri bundgrænse og bremsning af inflationen. vi må imidlertid erkende, at de første par år må bruges til oprydning efter det økonomiske rod, som socialdemokrater m.fl. har skabt, og at de kæmpestore forhøjelser af folkepensionssatsen derfor først kommer til at finde sted i 1980´erne.</p>
<p>Fremskridtspartiet er ved at udforme overgangsregler, der både er rimelige overfor den enkelte og samtidig ligger inden for rammerne for den nødvendige politik til landets frelse. Vi sender gang på gang vore skitseforslag herom til udtalelse hos tjenestemandsorganisationerne og får dem lige så regelmæssigt tilbage med et hovent svar. Dette er ikke nogen fornuftig arbejdsgang.</p>
<p>Hvad specielt angår det enkeltforslag, som har givet anledning til demonstrationen, har det absolut intet at gøre med de overenskomstmæssigt aftalte pensionsordninger. Ifølge forslagets egen tekst skal det nemlig først træde i kraft ved den nuværende overenskomstperiodes udløb.</p>

<p>For an aging population, there were some comments that must be noted:</p>
<ol>
<li>By 2030, more than half the population of Australia will be over 50 years old</li>
<li>"the issue of aging ..is a greater crisis than climate change"</li>
<li>Australia is wasting the talents of millions of older people</li>
<li>"we cannot economically sustain a retirement age of 65"</li>
</ol>
<p>This is an important issue for all developed countries where women are having fewer children later, if at all. The boomers are also wanting to continue their lifestyles without being pensioned off to watch TV all day, and want to continue to work and add value to companies and meaning to their lives. A discussion of age policy is also critical because governments just can't afford to pay the age pension when the working population will be so few compared to the retired within this generation.</p>
<p><strong>So how does it affect your working life</strong> - which is what this blog is all about?</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Do you want to retire from this current job/ industry at 75?</strong> Can you bear it for that long? If not, better make a change in your job/ career earlier on.<br />

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong><em><span>Date of implementation :   R</span></em></strong><span>evised pay scales to implemented retrospectively from January 1, 2006. Allowances to be paid prospectively.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong><em>Running Pay Bands :  </em></strong>Introduction of four distinct running pay bands- one running band each for all categories of employees in groups ‘B’ and ‘C’ and 2 running pay bands for Group A posts.  Every post have a distinct grade pay attached to it. Grade pay is fixed amount attached to each post in the hierarchy. The total number of grades reduced to 20 spread across four distinct running pay bands against 35 existing scales. At the time of promotion, Grade Pay to be changed with additional increase of one increment. Persons stagnating for more than one year in a pay band shall be placed in next higher pay band without any change in Grade pay.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong><em>Group’D’ employees :  </em></strong>No further recruitment of Gr.’D’ employees. All Gr’D’ employees to be  placed in Gr’C’ scale of PB-1 straightway or after training. Group’D’ jobs to be carried out through persons on contract.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><em><span>Formula for Basic on 1<sup>st</sup> Jan 2006 </span></em></strong><em><span>:  <span style="font-style:normal;">Basic on 1-1-2006 in old scale + 74% of this Basic + Grade Pay as attached to each post</span></span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><em><span><strong>Annual increment :  </strong>2.5</span></em><span>%of total of pay in the Pay Band plus grade pay. Provision of higher increment of 3.5% to maximum 20% of employees in Pay Band-3, depending on performance.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong><em><span>Date of annual increments </span></em></strong><span>:  In all cases, to be first of July. Eligibility is six months and above in the scale as on July 1.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong>HRA </strong>: 30% for A-1, 20% for A, B-1 &#38; B-2 and 10% for C/Unclassified cities.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong><em>CCA and Transport Allowance :</em></strong>   CCA to be subsumed in Transport Allowance and the rates of this allowance to be increased by 4 times. Transport Allowance to be increased every year on the basis of the increase in the dearness allowance. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><em><span>Dearness allowance : </span></em></strong><span>Base year of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) to be revised as frequently as feasible. Formulation of a separate index for Government employees suggested. Till revision CPI with base 2001 to be used for calculation of DA.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong><em>GPF : </em></strong> Investment to be voluntary. No minimum prescribed for employees covered under CCS (pension) 1972 rules.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong><em>PRIS </em></strong>: Introduction of Budget neutral Performance related scheme (PRIS). Employee to be eligible for pecuniary remuneration over and above Pay. PRIS to replace Ad-hoc Bonus and PLB.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong><em>Other allowances :</em></strong>  Existing rates of most of the allowances to be doubled both in case of Defence Forces as well as civilian employees. Travel entitlements to be paid on actual. Rates of Education allowance reimbursement to be raised from existing Rs.50 to Rs.1000 per child per month, subject to the maximum of two children. Hostel subsidy to be raised from existing Rs.300 p.m. to Rs.3000 p.m.  Risk allowance to be replaced by risk insurance. All the fixed allowances made inflation proof with provisions of automatic revision whenever dearness allowance payable on revised pay bands goes up by 50%. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong><em>Medical facilities :  </em></strong>A new medical insurance scheme. The scheme to be optional for existing Central Government employees and pensioners but compulsory for new Government employees and pensioners.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong><em>Pension </em></strong>: </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span>(1).<em> </em>Pension to be paid at 50% of the average emoluments / last pay drawn ( whichever is more beneficial ) after qualifying service of 20 years without linking it to 33 years for grant of full pension. <em>  </em> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span>(2). Rates of Constant Attendant Allowance to be increased by five times to Rs.3000 p.m.   </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span>(3). Fitment formula recommended for serving employees to be extended in case of existing pensioners/family pensioners.   </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span>(4) Higher rates of pension for retirees and family pensioners on attaining the age of 80, 85, 90, 95 and 100 years.   </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span>(5). Revision of the commutation table for commutation of pension. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span>(6) Framing of an appropriate insurance scheme suggested for meeting the OPD needs of pensioners in non-CGHS areas.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong><em>Voluntary Retirement :  </em></strong>Persons seeking voluntary retirement on completing qualifying service of 15 years but less than 20 years to be paid one time lump-sum retirement benefit of 80 months’ salary.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><em><span>Payment of Gratuity :</span></em></strong><span> The maximum pecuniary limit of payment of Rs. 3.5 lakh raised to Rs. 10.00 lakh</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><em><span>Leave encashment :</span></em></strong><span>  Number of EL ( 60 days ) encashed while in service excluded from overall ceiling of encashment of 300 EL at the time of retirement. Both EL and HPL eligible for encashment subject to overall limit of 300 days but no commutation of HPL for making up shortfall of EL.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span><strong><em>Public holidays :  </em></strong>Continuation of five-day week, three national holidays, No gazetted holidays. Eight restricted holidays.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><em><span>Women employees :</span></em></strong><span> Benefits like staggered working hours, special leave for child care, enhanced maternity leave of 180 days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><em><span>Advances :</span></em></strong><span>  A new mechanism for grant of advances under which an employee will take the advance from an approved bank and the Government will give an interest subsidy equal to two percentage points on the rate of interest being charged by the bank to the employee. Existing limits of various advances doubled for subsidy and provisions made for their automatic revision periodically. Eligibility for taking advances removed.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><em><span>ITS Absorption : </span></em></strong><span>No necessity of retaining Indian Telecom Service (Group A) since function of providing Telecom services corporatised. Existing officers of this service either to be absorbed in BSNL/MTNL or else to be sent to surplus pool.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><em><span>Financial implications : </span></em></strong><span> The recommendations to cost Rs.12561 crore in the year 2008-09. Savings of Rs.4586 crore likely to accrue on account of various measures suggested.The net financial implications estimated to be Rs.7975 crore for the year 2008-09 with one-time burden of Rs.18060 crore on payment of arrears</span><span>.</span><span> </span></p>

<p>La pensión media en Andalucía ha sido en agosto de 664,43 euros, mientras que en el conjunto de España ascendió a 721,33, según los datos hechos públicos hoy por el Instituto Nacional de la Seguridad Social.</p>
<p>Esta cantidad de la pensión media en la comunidad autónoma, según un comunicado de la delegación del gobierno en Andalucía, supone un crecimiento del 6,7 por ciento en relación con el mes de agosto de 2007.</p>
<p>El número de pensiones en Andalucía ascendió a 1.337.476 en agosto, lo que representa un incremento del 1,7 % con respecto al mismo mes del año anterior, mientras que en toda España las pensiones contributivas de la Seguridad Social fueron 8.409.661, lo que ha supuesto un crecimiento interanual del 1,5 por ciento.</p>

<p><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Retirement" target="_self">Retirement</a> is the time in life when it's okay to ENJOY yourself. Your formal education has been completed, your family has been raised and your career has come to an end. No one is going to tell you what to do any more. You can just ENJOY. You can make quilts or build bookcases or spoil grandchildren or play the guitar or sleep all day.</p>
