I tested a few models and I couldn't help but think I should have waited with buying my Sparta Pick Up. I don't really regret it, but the Workcycles models are way up there and well worth the extra few hundred euros. One small consolation was that I still needed to have a good Brooks saddle, so no better place than Henry's to replace it.

Am primit diploma semnata de toti leii care au prezentat la acest eveniment, am primit 2 super carti drept cadou si multe alte surprize foarte dragute :)

S-a incheiat prima editie a unui eveniment bestial! Desi e putin spus. Antreprenoriatul Online a fost abordat la 720 grade :D . Next Online Players ne asteapta si vara viitoare. Abia asteptam cu totii sa ne intalnim peste un an si sa ne povestim realizarile :) .

Am avut o zi de pus in rama. Pentru asemenea momente viata merita traita! :)

Inca de dimineata, am avut sansa de a da mana cu personalitati de renume ale antreprenoriatului din Romania: Marius Ghenea, Claudiu Gamulescu si Andrei Rosca.

Marius Ghenea a inceput seria prezentarilor de astazi. In afara de extraordinarul sentiment pe care il ai de parca te-ai afla la Arena Leilor(au filmat de la TV :p ), Marius iti ofera si un puternic imbold pedagogic. Se observa spiritul de business-angel pe care il degaja prin fiecare cuvant rostit. Marius Ghenea e un titan si ce poate fi mai frumos decat sa iti petreci o dimineata cu o prezentare live a sa?  :) A vorbit despre antreprenoriat si apoi a particularizat, disecand mediul de business online din Romania. A tinut o excelenta prezentare de 2 ore! :)

Claudiu Gamulescu ne-a vorbit despre alternativele de a monetiza un blog, excluzand arhicunoscutele si obositele bannere. Tipul e tare de tot, stie bine ceea ce vorbeste. Are tupeu, atitudine, e direct si stapaneste foarte bine tehnicile de a apropia audienta. Plus ca, e un baiat foarte amabil.

Radu Ionescu si-a demonstrat inca o data clasa! E o persoana elevata si vizionara in acelasi timp. Radu e speakerul care a abordat probleme clare cu care se loveste zi de zi internetul de la noi. Cum e bine sa comunici cu clientii si cu agentiile. Mediul online nu a ajuns inca la maturitate, iar Radu a atacat frontal toate aspectele de grad zero!

Toti oamenii pe care i-am ascultat in aceste 2 zile sunt la un nivel mult peste exceptional!

Trebuie insa neaparat sa spun asta. Ziua s-a incheiat cu 2 prezentari tinute de catre cel mai tare speaker pe care l-am vazut in viata mea! Desi azi a fost prima data cand l-am intalnit pe Vlad Stan, am fost cucerit inca de la primele sale replici!

Vlad Stan e un non-conformist! Are un stil aparte de a-si expune ideile. E genul de om pe care ori il urasti, ori il placi la nebunie! E tipul care iti spune in fatza ca esti varza(eu am scapat :D ) si care in acelasi timp te face sa razi! :) Iti da sfaturi si chiar e interesat sa iti mearga bine. E omul care face Marketing clipa de clipa!

Apropo de Marketing, copii, chiar am intrat intr-o noua era!!! Chiar avem in fatza Noul Marketing. Haideti sa lasam la o parte termeni precum „audienta tinta”, „advertising” sau „” antrenarea agentilor de vanzari”.

Marketingul se schimba. Si bloggerii astia onanisti(asa cum ne-a numit Marius Tuca) sunt printre primii care au inteles asta! Desi, vorba lui Vlad Stan, sa nu ne mai simtim asa jigniti de aceasta „numire”. Niciunul dintre barbati nu suntem straini de asa ceva :D :D :P . Ce vreti, v-am zis ca Vlad e bestial! :)

Maine: servicii online plus prezentarea proiectelor de afaceri in fatza catorva business-angels printre care, din ce am inteles, vor fi Marius Ghenea si Vlad Stan!

So today we went and picked up dh's check from work, went to the bank, then went to the grocery store for things to make sandwhiches.. We came back home and made sandwhiches to take the to the park. We stayed about an hour and half at the park. We ate lunch and fed the ducks and they got to play for a very short time. I realize it was really a short time but it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO very hot outside.

I thought we had a nice time. I loaded the kids back up and as we are pulling out of our parking spot at the park the complaining began. I can't make them happy. I can not win. I try to do something special with them and instead of enjoying it all they did was complain about what they didnt get to do. So I give up. Next time i'll let dh take the car. Its not worth the fight with him to only listen to them complain about what they didnt get to do. What is it with my kids lately? They are never happy? Nothing I do is good enough even though I went out of my way to make them feel special.. Did I mention it was 95 and felt like over 100 outside? Did I mention it was humid? Did I mention I could have sat on my arse in my living room in the a/c with a fan blowing on me instead???????

Cara membuat :
Bumbu di haluskan:
Bersihkan cabe merah, buang bijinya, blender dengan sedikit air, sisihkan
Bersihkan bawang putih dan bawang merah, potong-potong, blender jadi satu tambahkan sedikit air, sisihkan

Panaskan wajan penggorengan, masukkan bumbu halus, beserta cabe yang telah dihaluskan sebanyak 1 sdt.
Aduk hingga bumbu tercampur rata dan harum
Masukkan telor kocok, aduk dalam penggorengan hingga tercampur rata dan garing
Masukkan potongan caosim, potongan kol putih dan daging ayam yang di suwir, aduk rata hingga seluruh bahan tercampur rata
Masukkan nasi putih, masak hingga seluruh bahan tercampur, tekan-tekan bila ada nasi yang menggumpal, aduk terus hingga rata.
Tambahkan garam, merica dan bumbu penyedap, aduk hingga seluruh bagian tercampur dengan rata. Pastikan garam tidak ada yang menggumpal.
Tambahkan kecap manis, tuang ke dalam pinggir penggorengan, masak aduk rata hingga warna nasi agak kecoklatan karena balutan kecap manis.
Aduk sebentar, angkat dan sajikan

Sajikan di atas piring, beserta potongan timun dan tomat merah segar, serta krupuk diatasnya.
Sajikan hangat-hangat.

Catatan :
Nasi goreng adalah masakan paling favorit bagi semua orang, dengan pilihan yang di sajikan ini semoga menjadi alternative dalam memasak nasi goreng. Kreasi dapat pula di tambahkan potongan sosis, potongan baso, atau potongan ati ampela, sehingga nasi goreng tera lebih komplit dan enak.

Oameni unul si unul! Desi am fost emotionat de faptul ca intalneam asemenea persoane minunate, am reusit sa socializez si eu destul de bine(cred :P ). I-am intalnit pe genialii organizatori. Pe Georgeta, Alina(2 fete foarte frumoase :) ) Ciprian si Alex(daca as spune si de ei ca sunt frumosi, as da de banuit :D ). Se descurca excelent!

Am facut cunostinta cu Adi Mironescu, care e foarte de treaba.

Printre participanti, oameni care ma faceau sa ma intreb ce caut eu acolo :P .

Speakerii au fost la inaltime. A fost ziua dedicata comertului online.

Mircea Scarlatescu ne-a vorbit despre cum poti avea succes pornind practic de la zero. Si ce greu e! De ce ai nevoie si cum sa nu te lasi dus de val atunci cand ti se pare ca toate iti merg din plin.

Madalin Matica a prezentat Noul Marketing. A explicat de ce nostalgicii dupa Kotler, Rise sau Trout au mari probleme in a supravietui pe piata din ziua de azi. O prezentare mai ceva decat celebra expresie « ca la carte« !

Liviu Taloi a vorbit foarte fain despre conceptul de magazin online. De ce 500 euro buget pe un an e de multe ori doar o gluma, care sunt problemele ce apar in legatura cu stocurile si a oferit cateva ponturi foarte utile referitoare la elementele de ordin grafic ale unui asemenea magazin ce chiar doreste sa vanda !

Dragos Manac m-a facut sa realizez ca nu sunt atat de inalt si de destept pe cat ma credeam ! :D « Business online » a fost titlul prezentarii sale in care ne-a povestit despre Ghelir.ro si nu numai !

Toti speakerii sunt profesionisti si oameni de exceptie. Totusi, pentru ca fiecare dintre noi avem afinitati si suntem subiectivi, trebuie sa spun ca Madalin si Dragos mi-au mers direct la inima. Madalin, pe langa faptul ca a fost juriul ce a acordat invitatia pentru un blogger la acest mega eveniment :) , a vorbit despre Marketing exact pe gustul meu. Iar Dragos, care nicidecum nu e tipul fioros din pozele de pe bloguri, e un tanar antreprenor care nu inceteaza sa viseze si sa construiasca reusite.

E o mare sansa si onoare pentru mine sa particip la aceasta conferinta.

Maine: Publishing Online. Va fi tare de tot. Mai ales ca, printre invitati circula un zvon cum ca insusi Directorul General de la BookBlog.ro Corporation ne va onora cu prezenta sa :P .

... And there goes my Virgin try of Graveyard. For those who told me that Graveyard is a knocker, LIARS. It's not strong.

After which, we went into Zouk for Mambo. Woohoo~~ I was lucky enough, as the songs happened to be good. We used our drink coupons to swap for a jug of Gin Tonic. MJ ordered Flaming Lamborghini too. The novelty of the drink is that the bartender will lit the shot with fire. And you will have to drink it with a straw. They will, at the same time, pour in a shot of chocolate milk. Sweet and nice. BUT I don't think I will go for it again. My current favorite is Cosmopolitan.

We danced for a while before heading to Wine Bar agin for more drinks. 2 jug of Long Island Tea we ordered. And my memory stopped at the first jug. I was a goner.

I called them up today for enquiry. Apparently, after the 2nd jug of Long Island Tea, we each drank a cup of Vodka Red Bull each ( Did we? ) and then we went into Phuture and dance ( Oh. ). I was almost thrown out by the bouncer ( My. ) and MY was the one who accompanied me home ( God! )

Yesterday a group of students of an American University who has been studying in Florence for three months had a very interesting meeting at the Gabinetto Vieusseux (www.vieusseux.fi.it) in Palazzo Strozzi.

The meeting was entitled Firenze Immaginata, Firenze Vissuta and they had to talk about the difference between how they had imagined Florence before coming here and how it is in reality after a three months’ stay?

The guys have kept talking for almost two hours and their comments and opinions were very impressive!

Here are some of their considerations about the argument:

“…Which is the element that makes you feel part of Florence? Is it visiting the museums or eating the Bistecca alla Fiorentina in a very expensive restaurant? I don’t think so. I think that when you start living in a place, and you also start working, you start taking part to the daily routine of that place, so you are not a tourist anymore and you don’t behave as you still were it. So, life in Florence is not only going to the museums or doing something special, but it’s also study, work and routine…”

“…Since I live in Florence, I noticed that life is very expensive! One of the main means of livelihood for Florence is tourism, and of course also fashion and luxury, but this is often an outward way of living, because actually many families have financial difficulties and living here is quite hard…”

“…I noticed that there is a strong sense of solidarity between the families of the block of flats where I live. I think that Italian people in general have a great sense of community and neighborhood, and this is different from America, where people live on their own without having any contact with their neighbor…!”

“What I expected to find and what I actually found:

• The social aspect of Italians: they are very open and dramatic people above all when they discuss something

• The food culture: for Italian people living is eating, but in the sense that to them the eating time is a time to spend together, a time to share opinions, feelings, etc.

• The sense of belonging to a place

I also learnt one thing from this experience: imagination is something that you can’t have if you don’t have real life.”

This is what I imagined, actually I learnt that reality is often very different from imagination. Florence is in fact a very cosmopolitan place where different people from different cultures leave together every day with all the difficulties that come from a similar situation…”

Before coming here I thought that all Italian people were Catholic, but then I suddenly realized that it was an old idea. In fact, I usually go to Mass while my Italian friends meet me later outside the church…”

“…Living in Florence gave me the sensation of being independent and self-governing. When I arrived here I suddenly felt that I could walk around the city without losing myself and in an autonomous way. Florence transmits a sense of safety and independence…”

“…Every place in the World is different from all the others and it’s unique, and every place communicates something different and peculiar…”

“…To deepen your own knowledge of a place you need to feel the spirit of that place and immerse yourself in the local customs and culture…”

“..To get in contact with a place you need time and patience, you need to be curious and investigating, you need to listen to that place…”

“…To understand a city you can observe people in their daily actions, such as waiting for a bus, going to work, etc…”.

These are just some of the ideas that came out yesterday during this meeting and we would be very happy if these guys wrote other comments on our blog!!!

The IMAGINATION/REALITY theme is very important to understand many things on people and places and to realize how easy it is to generate stereotypes in general.

How can we avoid to be superficial in our judgements?...
