Bobby Abreu clearly wants to return to the Yankees. Abreu has been a solid force on the team, quietly collecting 100 RBI this season and putting together quite the portfolio in his limited time in pinstripes. If he was willing to take on a 1-year deal, then maybe he would return. However, it's fairly evident that he won't accept that, and why should he? That's not fair to expect that of him. He can get a 3-year deal on the free agent market, whether it's from the Mets or the Braves, he'll get a multiyear deal from someone.

Some may think it's crazy to let him go. He hit well with RISP, true, but Bobby is also 34 and while his power numbers were up this year (funny how that happens in a contract year), his OBP continues to decline. If the Yankees were to lock Abreu up to a 3 or 4-year deal, his stock could plummet within a year or 2. On top of that, he was awful when trying to swipe a bag (22 attempts, 11 CS) and actually finished 3rd in the league in the caught stealing category. A slower Bobby Abreu with a declining eye, isn't necessarily the type of player you want. Throw in his shoddy defense, and it makes sense for the Yankees to move on (or, if they're going to sign a bad defender, at least sign a better hitter).

The Yankees' 3-hole is a good place to be, as Derek Jeter's presence before you and Alex Rodriguez's bat behind you, certainly helps your production. Now, imagine the production that could be gained from that spot if you hit a Mark Teixeira there. Obviously, Abreu benefited from that spot, yet what about Jeter and A-Rod? Sure, A-Rod and Jeter benefited from Bobby's presence, as well, but think how much better it would be if the Yankees subbed in a tremendous power threat and an on-base machine that hasn't even reached his prime.

Cosa è cambiato negli anni da quando hai iniziato tu?
Bè sicuramente le attrezzature hanno fatto passi da gigante e anche gli snwopark sono sempre più belli e divertenti...e finalmente i padroni degli impianti hanno capito che lo snowboard non è una moda ma uno sport a tutti gli effetti...mentre x i genitori che obligavano i bambini a imparare a sciare prima di mettere la tavola sono riusciti ad aprire la mente e questo è molto positivo sia x la progresione dello sport che x i bambini che imparano a muoversi lateralmente divertendosi.

Come ti è venuta l'idea di tenere uno snowpark?
non è stata una mia idea,  sono stato tirato dentro da dei ragazzi, anche se la passione x kik rail e tutto il mondo fs lo sempre avuta

Che difficoltà hai incontrato per realizzare il tuo progetto dal punto di vista organizzativo e tecnico?
troppe!!!!  dai ragazzi che nn sono mai contenti che trovano sempre da criticare, i gattisti, i fondi che sono sempre pochi ecc.

Che strutture metterai questa stagione?
ci saranno 2 linee di kik una x principianti con flat da 2/4/6 metri e una da 4/8/12 più un big da 15, due linee di rail una da street  e una box più un wall da 4x5 metri.

Hai già eventi e feste in programma?
Prima gara con inaugurazione della stagione il 22/23 di dicembre con session notturna parti , passera e tanta BIRRA.

Buscando una pieza de Coca para bajarla a mi videoteca de publicidades me he encontrado con dos spot casi iguales. En realidad, una versión extendida y la versión que por lo menos se ha emitido en Argentina y que yo he visto un tanto más sintética.

Ya he hablado de la música y la publicidad, pero nunca había encontrado un ejemplo tan claro de las diferencias que puede causar.

A mí particularmente me ha gustado y me parece más atinada la de la versión corta. Me parece perfecta.

Bonus Esférico: Y si se trata de volver a empezar, bueno fue el mensaje de Coca Cola luegom de la eliminación argentina en el mundial 2002. grandioso comercial.

Esto es lo que me ha mantenido ocupado y sin poder actualizar durante las últimas 2 semanas. Es un anuncio para la iglesia en c/Agustina de Aragon, 53, en Valencia. Se preparó para ponerlo durante el concierto que el Coro Gospel Gloria celebró el pasado 4 de Octubre cerca del local de la iglesia, como parte de los actos de celebración de su 30 aniversario. La idea, tanto del concierto como del video, era que sirviera para dar a conocer la iglesia al barrio, que despues de 30 años ya es hora, jeje.

Si se cumplió el objetivo, ya se verá, el video puede ser muy bonito o estar muy currado, pero lo que importa es que llegara a la gente a la que iba destinado, que entendiera el mensaje que se pretendía transmitir, no que le impresionara como estaba hecho, o que le gustara la música, o le atrayeran las imagenes; fuegos artificiales los puede hacer cualquiera y no se trata de eso, no me gustaria perder ni que nadie perdiera la perspectiva del auténtico objetivo de este tipo de cosas.

Por lo demás, queria tambien dar las gracias a todas las personas que han participado y colaborado con todo esto, aunque no creo que les llegue el agradecimiento porque creo que ninguno sabe siquiera que existe este blog, pero bueno, como el gesto es gratis, que luego no se diga.

Ya es sabido por todos que Barcelona es un infinito manantial de spots y que cada vez es más difícil sorprenderse con una de sus maravillas. Muchos han sido los descubrimientos y muchas son las zonas de la ciudad en la que los buenos spots se congregan y crean una especie de Wonderland del skate. Digo esto, teniendo en mente lugares como la zona de Forum o el barrio de San Martí, lugares en los que puedes patinar infinidad de distintas posibilidades en un radio de un kilómetro. Pero bueno, como esto ya es sabido, lo sorprendente del sitio del que os voy a hablar, es lo poco probable que parecía encontrar un nuevo spot en un lugar tan aislado y recóndito como los banks de la fábrica de cervezas Damm. Los hips abandonaron la soledad de su explanada, debido a que la enorme fuente colindante al famoso spot, ha sido vaciada por algún motivo (he oído varias versiones) convirtiéndose en un increíble “plan b” y un nuevo motivo para recorrer la enorme distancia que separa el spot del centro. La fuente siempre pareció grande, pero aún lo parece más, cuando el destino te brinda la posibilidad de observarla desde el centro.

Poniéndome un tanto peliculero, la sensación producida al ver lo que las aguas escondían, creó en mi el virtual (y algo flipósico) sentimiento de haber accedido a un legado de civilizaciones pasadas escondido por el liquido elemento, que la evaporación trajo de vuelta. Algo así como esos pueblos que quedan sepultados por las aguas cuando se construyen presas. Planos más o menos inclinados, más o menos imperfectos y más o menos accesibles, pero muchos, tantos que me atrevería a pensar que ni la avalancha de patinadores que nos acercamos a aprovechar el efímero spot, hemos sido capaces de patinarlos todos.

Walllrides, bordillos, hips y un street gap gigantesco, han salido de la alberca como si del monstruo del lago Ness se tratase. Metros y metros de posibilidades, para rodar de punta a punta y volver a casa a dormir como un bebé.
