A început campionatul de bancuri. Cel mai tare banc publicat în comment-urile de mai jos de voi va fi premiat cu un bax(6 buc) de bere Tuborg şi va avea parte de promovare pe blog alături de personajul care l-a inventat/trimis. Pe bune! Juriul il voi forma pe parcurs că oamenii de încredere vor să participe ei cu bancuri deci nu-i pot băga în procesul decizional. Cei care vor să fie în juriu să-mi dea un semn. Cel care postează cele mai multe bancuri (acelaşi nickname) va primi şi el un bax(6 buc) de bere Tuborg.

Abonează-te prin e-mail sau prin RSS şi stai informat cu privire la stadiul concursului. Doar nu vrei să ţi-o ia altul înainte cu bancurile!

Berea va fi cel mai probabil Tuborg, dar dacă aveţi preferinţe putem negocia. :) Doar suntem oameni. Perioada de concurs este toată luna august şi zilele din iulie care au mai rămas începând de azi.

Välkommen till nätets mest uppdaterade blogg ... eller inte.

Hur som haver ... veckan har mest varit jobb och slappande framför film alt. tv-spel (på kvällstid). I tisdags träffade jag Daniel & Jennifer för middag på restaurang och sen drog vi hem till mig och avslutade kvällen med lite Singstar. Mycket trevligt.

Idag är en bra dag för övrigt eftersom jag går på semester om cirka 4h och 43 minuter. Det ska firas med lite öl med ett par arbetskamrater på någon, förhoppningsvis, uteservering i solen.

Imorgon är det dags för den årliga Råda-festen. Varje år åker jag&mitt norrtan-kompisgäng ut och grillar, festar, nattbadar och allmänt har oss i en liten sommarstuga i Råda, hence "Råda-Festen". Imorgon är det som sagt dags igen. 20 stycken glada människor ser det ut att bli iår. Ser ut att bli nice ... jag har införskaffat ett flak med Tuborg Grøn som ska drickas med glädje under hela dagen och kvällen imorgon :D

Ska bli grymt gott med en vecka att bara glida runt och ta varje dag som den kommer. Har visserligen drygt 2 veckor semester kvar att ta ut men tror det dröjer tills jag kasserar ut dom faktiskt. Iofs är det snack om en liten trip söderut runt den 6-10/8 men inget är konfirmerat än. Vi får se. Time will tell. Time will tell.

En person addade mig häromdagen på fejsan. Det intressanta är att jag inte har någon aning om vem det är... vi har en gemensam vän men det säger i det här fallet ingenting. Väntar med spänning på att hon ska ladda upp en bild i förhoppningen att det ska klicka till kugghjulen i huvudet som leder strömmen till den välkända "Heureka"-lampan.

Hur som helst... nu... lunch på Rainbow. Tjo!

Well it's over for another year. The greatest festival on the face of the earth, bar none.

After the disgusting mud and oomphscah of last years festival, it was nothing short of a delight to arrive in Copenhagen last Wednesday morning in blistering sunshine, knowing that the only rain forecast this year was a possible bit of a shower on Sunday afternoon.

After a night spent boozing in the cheap, smelly, graffitied and impossibly hard to find Moose Bar on Wednesday night, it was time to flee the hostel and jump on the train. Twenty minutes later, we were staggering down the steps of Roskilde train station looking for the bus to the festival site. 12pm. Plenty of time to find a decent spot to camp.

However, the ten minute bus ride took us about 2 hours. First we got on the wrong bus.

'Roskilde Festival?' we asked the driver.

'Yes. 10 kroner.'

25 minutes later we jumped of the bus after realising that she wasn't going anywhere near the festival at all. So we waited for a bus back. Which duly arrived 10 minutes later, and proceeded to get a puncture. So we waited for another one. Which duly arrived and brought us back to the train station.

We jumped in a taxi this time, asking the driver to bring us to the main entrance. Which he did. The main artists entrance, the fucking eejit. So we bought a couple of six packs and headed off on foot for the main entrance at Camping East.

3 hours of walking around in the blazing sunshine later, we happened across a smashing little spot right beside some Finnish dudes who seemed to spend the whole weekend drinking Vodka, making balloon animals, and untangling their dreadlocks. Mikka, the main Finn, told me on Sunday night when I was staggering around the campsite lost in clouds of dust, smoke from burnt tents and half blind due to drinking 3 litres of wine in the previous 5 hours, that he believed himself to be a immune to vampire attacks because of the garlic that he wore around his neck.

He also told me that his sister was a catwalk model until one unfortunate incident which left her standing on a catwalk, roaring at the audience 'I HAVE LOST MY SHOOOES!!! I HAVE JUST TAKEN SOME MAJIC MUSHROOMS!!!".

He was that type of guy.

Anyway, i'm not going to bore you with a day by day account of what I did and with who.

However, if anyone knows an Australian girl called Clare who lives in Kilkenny, or possibly LImerick, do tell her to drop me a line...our paths crossed a few times over the weekend you see..

Of the bands, some were amazing, others were as shit as I thought they would be. Radiohead should not headline a festival. Ever. Radio head are the Bovril of music. You either love them or hate them passionately. Festival headliners need big choruses, not avant garde electronic noodlings.

Neil Young was pretty impressive for the 20 minutes that I saw, because I was busy fulfilling a lifelong dream and watching My Bloody Valentine absolutely OWN the festival, with a thunderous, feedback drenched blast of pure white noise. I literally couldn't hear for about 30 minutes after the gig. It made ordering beer quite fun, seeing as the bar staff were also deafened.

Mogwai were pretty awesome, as were Slayer. Danish death metal outfit Pilgrimz weren't too bad either. I bought their CD and lsitened to it in the campsite that night.

Grinderman rocked the house, and Nick Cave made me laugh with his mustache, karate kicks and red leather jacket that he said he 'borrowed off Michael Jackson' before flinging it to the crowd.

I missed Danish instrumentalists Efterklang because the venue was too full to get into. And Irish/Danish Hip-Hop 'superstar' L.O.C (Liam O'Connor to his friends) didn't looks out of place in front of 20,000 people on the Orange stage on Saturday afternoon.

Chemical Brothers were a bit of a dud, although maybe because my ears were still ringing from MBV.

Norwegian band The Grand - check 'em out - came across like a mix between Led Zeppelin and Queens of the Stone Age. I shall invest in some of their stuff.

Jay Z was pretty good, although I was arseholed on wine at that stage on Sunday night and I had a Danish girl dancing under my poncho so I wasn't really concentrating that much to be honest.

Kings Of Leon, despite the fact that I think their third album was rubbish, were pretty good on the main stage. Although they mostly played songs off the first two albums, which is probably why I liked it so much.

Gnarls Barkley was avoided like the plague.

Band Of Horses played one of the finest sets I've ever seen anyone play anywhere, and seemed generally emotionally overwhelmed to be there on what was repeatedly called 'the happiest day of their lives'. Pretty much perfect.

Battles were brilliant, and were on just after midnight, when I had my dancing shoes on. I totally forgot about Hot Chip even playing the festival, which says a lot about Hot Chip.

French housey types Digitalism closed the festival after Jay-Z but I was a bit staggery by then, and couldn't get my groove on as much as I'd like to. Thats when I went back to the tent, got lost, and struck up a conversation with my Finnish friend. Who was playing frisbee in the dark when I ran in to him.

I missed Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, missed Seasick Steve, missed Cat Power, missed The Gossip, walked out on MGMT because they were shit, caught a bit of the Hellacopters set, missed Holy Fuck, thought the Streets were totally fucking shit...

The food is fantastic (on Saturday night I dined on Reindeer Stew and mashed potatoes) and the bar queues are non existent. The people are ridiculously friendly, and even when rolling around in the dust with their trousers falling down, lying on their back playing air guitar and doing a bicycle thing with their legs, before getting up and putting a load of coins in their mouths and shouting at a bloke with a skull on a stick, you never feel like there's going to be so much as a punch thrown.

The festival is entirely self sufficient and not for profit. Its' run seamlessly with a staff entirely made up of volunteers, and it's on again next year, as it has been for the last 35 or so. It's as big as Glastonbury, and isn't populated by cunts.

Get your skates on. The plane was nearly full this year..

9 dagar av fest, dans, musik, människor, kärlek, mat, sol, sol och mer sol. Det har varit fantastiskt och minnen i huvudet kryllar på varandra för att slåss om den bästa platsen.

Jag har varit på 2 Rookiefestivaler, 3 Hultsfredsfestivaler och nu 3 Roskildefestivaler. Kan med lätthet och säkerhet säga att årets Roskildefestival är den bästa jag besökt hittils. Den bästa festivalen, that is.

Tack Tobias, Niklas, Alex, Paul, Linda, Fredrik, Jimmy, Sanjin, Scott, Kamp Fiesta, Thea & resten af vores danske venner. Tack alla jag mött och delat upplevelser med. Tack för musiken och då framförallt Radiohead, Band of Horses och Solomon Burke som skakade min ben, mitt hjärta och min själ. Tack Grøn Tuborg, Kapten Morgan och Turkarna för all fylla.

Tack Danmark, Roskilde. Tack, tack, tack. Vi ses nästa år.

Bun,sa continuam..... :) Cred ca era necesar avertismentul de mai sus deoarece m-am gandit ca in acest articol ar trebui sa vizualizam si discutam cateva spoturi "de la ei" care au fost interzise datorita continutului imaginilor sau a limbajului folosit cu toate ca in sine produsul a fost promovat intr-un mod foarte funny cu priza la public.

Sa vedem....deci.....cum poti avea o campanie publicitara reusita?Care sunt chestiile cu "lipici la public" intotdeauna?Ce ne atrage pe noi toti zilnic?Cred ca majoritatea stiu raspunsul pentru ca se cunosc si sunt drepti cu propria persoana (restul,imi cer scuze sa va spun,dar poate ca sunteti prea infatuati si pudici sa recunoasteti).....da oameni buni....ne atrage SEXUL.E ceva ce ne uneste cumva indiferenta de rasa,orientare social-religioasa sau orice caracteristica care ne-ar indeparta.Avem nevoie sex pentru ca, in subconstient macar,toti stim ca e sanatos.Avem nevoie de sex pentru ca in lipsa lui viata asta poate ca ar fi prea plictisitoare.Puteti sa ii spuneti amor,dragoste sau cum vreti voi,totusi cuvantul care ar descrie cel mai bine aceasta nevoie este SEX si toti stim ca la o simpla aluzie asupra acestui subiect,se creaza un fel de senzatie de...cunoastere.

Plecand de la premiza dezbatuta mai sus,producatorii de spoturi publicitare si-au dat seama ca trebuie sa atinga cumva acest aspect pentru ca asa vor face o campanie reusita si cu priza la public,o campanie buna de care ne vom aminti oricand.Asa au aparut clipurile publicitare de gen care nu au vazut "sticla" pentru prea mult timp,fiind interzise ,dar care au ramas pe diferite site-uri de gen si sunt urmarite si acum exact pentru faptul ca sunt foarte bine regizate.

Si incep incursiunea noastra in "curtea vecinului" la viteza ridicata cu o campanie intens mediatizata la vremea ei pentru Mastercad care poarta numele (foarte bine ales) "Indecent Proposal" - sa urmarim clipul si continuam dupa :

Dupa ce am vazut impactul cardului de credit si suntem intru totul de acord cu utilitate si utilizarea lui (doua cuvinte cu "uti-" alaturate dau o senzatie ciudata :P )sa mergem mai departe si sa urmarim un spot creat pentru renumitul multimiliardar in EUR si anume pentru domnul Bill Gates si al lui Microsoft:

Dar sa lasam spoturile pentru prezervative de o parte si sa trecem la lucruri ceva mai...serioase.Urmatoarea reclama venita tocmai din Danemarca incepe destul de iritant dar nu va pierdeti rabdarea si urmariti cu atentie:

So I've drank everything from Larger, to Ale, to Liquor, Champagne, Whiskey, and loads more spirits that I dared to try. Some were a grave mistake however when mixed were a concoction of brilliance. Mixing Ouzo with lemonade or Jägermeister with energy drink they were like icing on a cake, the gravy on my Yorkshire puddings. I fear to think how much of my student loan was actually used, however not all is lost as 40% of the bottles I collected were from other people (all are mentioned at the end).

So what brands did I actually try, the list would be far too long therefore I'm just going to mention the better ones, sorting the men from the boys, brace yourself: Sambuca (with lemonade), Jägermeister (with energy drink), Glenfiddich, Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Ouzo (mixed to make black jack), Bell's, Southern Comfort, Smirnoff, Martini, Bollinger (1860 something!), Black Absinthe, Jacques Cider, Teachers, Underberg, Tsingtao, Morgan Spice (which we also made Sangria with), Barcardi Apple, Budweiser, Corona, Stella, Tuborg, Guinness (8%), San Miguel etc.

After much thought I narrowed down my favorite looking bottles, this has nothing to do with a night cap however it's like... when you're buying a car you'll only test drive the ones you think look the nicest then decided which one is the best of the best. After much thought I decided that I see larger and ale bottles far too often, and living in the North they're less of a commodity and more of a necessity. Being a true Yorkshire man I decided that all Wine, Champagne and forms of Vodka cannot win thus avoiding being beaten by my manly friends. However from my prospective these were the best outright: Jägermeister, Glenfiddich, Jack Daniels, Sambuca, Jim Beam and Southern Comfort In taste and in looks. However the winner for best looking bottle has to be Southern Comfort, unlike the ridiculous new advertisement campaign, calling it SOCO is like calling the Queen a needless peasant.

So here comes the most important part, which taste better, which one is worthy of being number one, which is the most pleasing to drink before calling it a day. They are all excellent in there own ways, either it be an excellent scotch or mind blowing Jager bomb (Jägermeister in a shot glass dropped into a cup of energy drink). As I plan to sleep after a night cap a Jager bomb is all but relevant, however I would recommend it as that early drink before setting off for a night on the town as you will need that extra energy for fighting that guy who looked at you funny or trying to eat that kebab without spilling sauce on your blood stained t-shirt . So after much deliberation between myself and myself, I decided that the perfect night cap, from my prospective would be a glass of Whiskey. Which one depends, on the price, taste and volume and therefore the winner has to be Glenfiddich. Glenfiddich comes with a minimum of 12 years, It's one of Britain's finest, such elegance and taste are a celebration of brilliance. Jack Daniels however is also a great Whiskey however for the little extra pricing Glenfiddich is the cherry on top of the icing, the mint sauce on top of my gravy and therefore is now named as my perfect night cap.

Cand a fost sa "impung" pe cei de la BGS nu am stat pre amult pe ganduri caci ...motivatia o gasiti in respectivul post.

Este demn si normal sa recunosti eforturile unor companii de a FACE CEVA pentru oamenii din comunitate si nu sa privesti ca neaparat o reclama ascunsa, profitand de sarbatori si de sensibilitati umane, de sezon.

Sa nu uitam ca exista si o oarecare "sezonalitate" a ajutorului companiilor (plecand si de la premisa ca nu vinzi inghetata IARNA ca si varf de vanzari), existand de asemenea un alt pericol: gestul tau sa devina "superfluu" (caci nu am mai admira floarea din mijlocul campului daca nu ar exista si balariile din jur).

  Românii sunt cei mai generoşi băutori de bere din Europa, reiese dintr-un studiu recent realizat de compania independentă de marketing şi consultanţă „Added Value” şi iniţiat de SABMiller, privind preferinţele europenilor în materie de consum de bere şi băuturi alcoolice.

Românii sunt primii din Europa care ar „face cinste” cu o bere chiar dacă ştiu că gestul nu le va fi întors cu aceeaşi ocazie. 91% dintre români sunt gata să ofere o bere unui prieten fără să aştepte alta în schimb, în timp ce suedezii sunt cel mai puţin dispuşi să facă acest gest.

În ceea ce priveşte numărul maxim de persoane pentru care un european ar „face cinste” cu o bere, studiul arată că românii ocupă şi aici primul loc, cu peste 10 persoane, urmaţi de belgieni, olandezi şi spanioli.

Când vine vorba de plată, cehii par să fie cei mai „corecţi” băutori de bere, ocupând primul loc al clasamentului în ceea ce priveşte împărţirea costului consumaţiei: 97% dintre cehi plătesc doar propria consumaţie, în timp ce 82% dintre olandezi şi 77% dintre belgieni împart „frăţeşte” (50:50) costurile.

Francezii au obiceiul de a plăti chelnerului după fiecare „rând” de beri comandate, în timp ce românii (84%), germanii (81%) şi cehii (90%) preferă mai degrabă să achite la sfârşit.

Europenii sunt cu adevărat iubitori de bere. Danezii şi suedezii sunt cei care preferă berea cu orice ocazie. Dintre europeni, danezii sunt cei care preferă cel mai mult să bea berea acasă cu familia, în timp ce suedezii conduc topul în ceea ce priveşte consumul de bere la prima întâlnire, la întâlnirile de afaceri şi atunci când iau cina la restaurant.

În ceea ce priveşte ocaziile de consum, majoritatea românilor (94%) preferă să bea berea acasă, la mesele cu familia, 61% la cinele de la restaurant, 54% dintre aceştia beau bere la nuntă, în timp ce numai 23% consumă bere la întâlnirile de afaceri.
